Spring is here…SEAFOOD IS BACK

Winter is finally over, and so it is time for buckets of seafood!

You have to love a meal where you eat with your hands and it is completely OK to get covered in a mess.

Fed up with the boring grub of winter? Its finally time to sit outside with a big platter of seafood...and no you don't have to share.

Now that spring has arrived, its time to switch from the stereotypical cold-weather dishes for meals that I personally find far more tasty.  Bring on the seafood, the snowballs, and yes… even the salads.  During the spring/summer months, eating lighter meals and being healthy is far easier. Its kind of weird how something you love so much during the winter months, like a hearty casserole or pumpkin pie, can taste kind of nasty in the middle of a summer. And suddenly, once you can start sporting sandals outside, salads can become so freaking appealing. What’s up with that?

While the seasons change, so should the stuff you cram in your face. Enjoy the change in routine and eat enough seafood now, so that when fall arrives in 6 moths you will be happy to switch back over to turkey and pies and soups and muffins and all that other goodness…damn. I kind of miss those already.
